American Detective

Established in May 1934, American Detective, or as it was sometimes known as American Detective Fact Cases or even American Detective Cases on issues where the word “Fact” is obscured by the cover art, was a short-lived magazine published by Artvision Publishing Company as a monthly detective pulp. One of the higher priced publications at 25¢, it ran for a total of 52 issues before it was eventually folded into True Detective in December 1938.
