She skinned him completely and hung the skin from a meat hook in the living room.
She also decapitated him and cooked parts of his body, serving them with vegetables and placing them on plates at the table — allegedly as a grotesque “meal” intended for his children.
Knight was found unconscious in the house the next day after a failed suicide attempt.
She was arrested at the scene, and the details of the murder quickly made headlines around the world due to their sheer brutality.
During her trial, Knight initially pleaded not guilty but later changed her plea to guilty, avoiding a full trial.
